Kinder Morgan/Tennessee Gas formerly withdrew its federal application to build a pipeline through Northfield and surrounding area.

 

4/21/16

Kinder Morgan/Tennessee Gas has suspended the proposed pipeline and compressor station project set to run through Northfield. Reported reason for the suspension is a lack of commitment from prospective customers. 

Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, L.L.C. (TGP), a subsidiary of Kinder Morgan, is developing the Northeast Energy Direct Project (NED) by upgrading infrastructure in Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Connecticut.
