Senior Center Activities

During regular hours of operation (M-Th; 7:30-3:30 except holidays), Becky and Linda are always available for concerns or connections to care.  Just stop by!

Every Monday and Wednesday at 9 am, the Bridge Club is in session with new members always welcome! There are also several card and board games available for groups, and we keep a jigsaw puzzle going just for fun!

Tuesdays brings the ROMEOs at 10:30 and you are welcome to come tap your toes to the familiar tunes. Lunch is served at 11:30, courtesy of Lifepath, Inc. A voluntary donation of $3 is requested ($8 for anyone under 60), to offset the expense of the meal. Please make your reservation the week prior to the meal you would like to attend, so we can send Lifepath an accurate count. Sign up in the center or call 498-2186 to reserve a meal.

Thursdays offers a variety of activities, followed (of course), by a community meal. Check out the monthly newsletter for offerings, or call us with suggestions!

On the 2nd Wednesday of the month, the local Kindergarten Class comes down for our Generations of Fun. This is a chance for Seniors and kids to form lasting connections over a simple project and (of course), a snack!

Twice a month our nurse comes in to take blood pressures and offer basic foot care (Appointments Required Prior To Clinic Days). Please check the newsletter for information.

Our SHINE rep is available for meetings by appointment on Thursday afternoons (Call for appointment)

The 4th Friday of each month at 9:00 from January to May, and September - October is our "This is Your Town" breakfast with a topical speaker.

Each summer we host concerts in our pavillion boasting a wide variety of music. This is a wonderful intergenerational event, and the Creamy is open!

The Franklin Regional Transit Van takes folks to lunch, shopping or taking in the sights as well as doctor's appointments and other errands.
