If you'd like to donate, please make checks payable to the "Northfield Council on Aging", write "Exercise Fund/60+ Yoga" on the Memo line, and mail to Northfield Senior Center, 69 Main St. Northfield, MA 01360 OR you can drop off your donation in the container labeled "Drop Box" at the back of Town Hall if you happen to be out and about.

Healthy Bones and Balance Class NOW EVERY WEDNESDAY from 10:30-11:30 am in-house and Zoom

Please call the Senior Center at: (413) 498-2901x114 or email: to be included in the "Zoom" invitation for this meeting. All are invited but pre-registration is required. 

This class is for everyone, regardless of ability.  Start slow or add more!  You will do simple seated stretches to warm up, and then use 1-5 pound hand and /or ankle weights to gradually increase muscle and bone mass.  This is one of the best fall prevention programs available!  It is evidence-based and led by trained senior leaders. Participants can borrow weights and and knobby balls from the Senior Center
